I set up Green Accountancy in 2007 as I wanted to help sustainable businesses, social enterprises and charities have well managed finances.
I am uniquely qualified in both accountancy (ACCA member since 1998) and environmental conservation (Diploma in Environmental Conservation University of Oxford 2007). As a business we can work with these organisations to encourage and help them reduce their environmental impact alongside the accountancy and tax services we offer.
I have worked in accountancy and tax practice, with SMEs, all my career. I have seen the inner financial workings of literally thousands of businesses. In this career you learn what works and what doesn’t work, as well as the technical details needed to advise SME’s on business and tax matters.
Applying this to green sector organisations, since 2007, has been a pleasure and further learning experience.
Outside of work I enjoy mountain biking, bikepacking, tennis, tea, and music. As a change from my daily tax reading, I’m slowly learning some basic French and tennis.
