David Wilsdon, FCCA
Director
Hi, I’m David Wilsdon, a Director at Green Accountancy Limited in Witney, Oxfordshire. I have a lot of experience in accounting and finance, and helping purpose-driven entities manage their finances effectively. I’m a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and I’m really passionate about supporting sustainability and green initiatives with my accountancy skills and through Green Accountancy.
I have specialised in providing comprehensive accounting services, tax planning, and financial consulting to purpose driven entities. Supporting social enterprises and BCorps is something I truly care about, and I enjoy ensuring they have the financial tools and knowledge to succeed.
When I’m not working, I enjoy train travel, café and gallery hopping in new towns and cities, bikepacking (camping with a mountain bike), hill walking, and playing tennis.

Since 2018 I have been a Director of Green Accountancy, bringing over a decade of experience as an ACCA qualified accountant. Throughout my career I’ve had the privilege of assisting a diverse range of businesses, social enterprises, and charities in navigating their financial challenges.
At Green Accountancy we adopt a friendly and open approach, with a real emphasis on getting things right! It’s truly rewarding to contribute to the success of social enterprises, helping them achieve their goals and gain a clearer understanding of their financial health. It is great to learn about clients’ exciting projects and to work with people that really want to make a difference.
Outside of work I enjoy running and can always be found at my local parkrun 9am on a Saturday morning.

I have worked at Green Accountancy since 2012 and have always found the team to be friendly and encouraging. I have been supported on my journey from zero experience to fully qualified accountant and I am always made to feel like an important part of the company.
I bring problem solving, teamwork and technical skill to the team, including the ability to analyse problems and working collaboratively. I am proficient in the various software and technology that we utilise in my role.
Outside of work I like to spend time with my family and get out and about walking, cycling and occasionally rock climbing. I also enjoy reading and playing the guitar.

Having joined Green Accountancy in 2024, for me the practice provides all the things I could need – an incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable team, with a focus on helping social and charitable initiatives.
I have been working in accounting since 2012 and have a host of practical experience and interest focusing on SME’s and individuals. I have a keen eye for detail and wanting to help clients get things right and to understand what’s needed.
Outside of the figures you’ll catch me exploring somewhere new with the dog or otherwise buried in an ACCA textbook.

I like working at Green Accountancy because everyone has been really welcoming to me since I joined the team and I also like the variety in the sorts of businesses I get to see.
I have lots of experience working with different cloud software, specifically Xero and have supported many clients with this.
My favourite thing to do outside of work is to go on a family dog walk to the beach.
